Monster Squeeze

Look at us playing the Monster Squeeze game.  The goal of this game is to figure out the mystery number.  We asked questions to the mystery number holder to squeeze in close to the number.  This is a fun game we could play at home.

Allison is Star Student

Check Allison out presenting her Star Student poster!  She did such an awesome job with decorating her poster to match her personality.

Madelyn's Grandma

Madelyn's grandma went above and beyond when she visited the class today.  She started the lesson by reading us a book on Ohio history.  Mrs. Schreiber and Mrs. Yakscoe even learned a thing or two from the book about our history in Ohio. After the story, we learned a bit about the flag of Ohio.  To close the lesson, Mrs. Yakscoe and Mrs. Schreiber learned the correct way to fold our flag.  We folded it 17 times to represent the number of stars on the flag.

Intro to Read to Someone Rules

We had a group discussion and modeled what reading to someone looks like, feels like, and sounds like.  The Super Learners did such a spectacular job trying all of those pieces out.  There was engaged reading going on all around the room.  Mrs. Yakscoe and I got goosebumps!  Wowza!

Math Groups Mr. Rubey

Wow, who knew math could be so much fun?  Check us out playing math games with Mr. Rubey.  We are also playing "Guess the Number" with Mrs. Schreiber!

Top It

Top-It is a game to teach comparing numbers.  We talked about how comparing numbers is deciding which number is greater and which number is less.  Here you will see us comparing numbers in a game called Top-It, the winner has the greater card.  If you win the round you get to keep the cards from both  player!  You can see the excitement in the smiles around the room.
