How can we write a five star story? USING DETAILS!!
Wowza, what fun! We built onto a story by adding DETAILS in the words and pictures. Ask me about this lesson! When we were finished we got to read our piece at Author's Chair and get feedback from 1A Super Learners.

Mrs. Mason popped by to teach us a lesson on bullying by reading Llama Llama and the Bullygoat. We made connections to CARES and recess expectations.
Number Scrolls
I have never seen a class love "scrolling" so much! Check out how long our number scrolls are getting! During free time 1A may take out their scroll and work on it. Ask me how far I am on my scroll! We have some friends who are in the THOUSANDS, WOW!
Gingerbread Man
Ask me how to compare/contrast characters in a story… because I CAN do it! We are rocking out at comparing and contrasting different versions of The Gingerbread Man!
